The GREAT Inititiative - Gender Right & Equality Trust

Every day, amazing things happen to redress gender imbalance and to improve the circumstances of women, children, and families worldwide. However, efforts are too often overshadowed by the many gaps and inequalities that still exist, and huge progress still needs to be made to realise gender equality. The GREAT Initiative is committed to engaging with exactly these issues and to foster genuine progress.

Quite simply, it is our belief that gender equality is nothing less than a fundamental right for all.

Gender issues are on every agenda at the moment; with governments all around the world, the United Nations and international NGOs apparently committed to tackling these urgent issues.

The GREAT Initiative wants to play a role in holding them to their promises.
