Patron Dr Scilla Elworthy will speak at the World Peace Festival

Patron Dr Scilla Elworthy will participate in the greatly anticipated World Peace Festival that will take place in Berlin next month.

She will give the introduction to the ‘Global Peace building Strategy’. She will then participate in the ‘Introducing Tools for Peace’ workshop during which the ‘7 steps to peace’ and ‘Peace begins with me’ will be presented. Indeed, conflict is a necessary part of life, the secret is how we deal with it.

As Dr Elworthy explains: ‘In every violent conflict, there are local people risking their lives daily for others. The World Peace Partnership is well placed to give them the recognition they deserve, and to enable us all - all over the world - to develop the skills needed to stop the cycle of violence, whether it be in homes, communities or between nations. These skills are not difficult to learn - and they work!’
