On Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st August, Beyond Borders Productions are organising a unique two day literature festival during which international writers will explore themes of identity and landscape in the historical surroundings of Traquair (Scotland). Beyond Borders seeks to help overcome conflict through dialogue and artistic exchange.
Trustees Mariella Frostrup and Jason McCue have been invited to participate to this event. Mariella will be in conversation with Times war correspondent Marie Colvin about her experience in Libya, Sri Lanka and beyond and will then discuss the aims of the GREAT Initiative and the empowerment of African women with Zimbabwean writer & lawyer Petina Gappah.
She will then host a GREAT drinks reception with Jason.
