Emma began presenting on current affairs programmes for LWT 15 years ago and has since worked for most TV channels in most formats. For the last eight years she has helped to produce seven hours of live TV and documentary for Comic Relief.
On radio she has hosted the morning show on GLR, The Lunchtime Show on Radio One, numerous documentaries on Radio Four and is a regular reporter on Loose Ends. She’s also presented the BAFTA Awards (BBC), The Turner Prize (Channel 4) and was script editor of Four Weddings And A Funeral, Notting Hill, The Vicar Of Dibley, Bridget Jones’s Diary and The Boat That Rocked.
She is a Trustee of Comic Relief - and Director of their Red Nose Day, the British fundraising event which has raised over a billion dollars for projects tackling the root causes of extreme poverty. With Richard, she helped to run the Make Poverty History campaign and was associate producer of the Live 8 concerts. She is also a patron of the White Ribbon Alliance.
