The GREAT Initiative Photographic Projects

The primary focus of The GREAT Initiative is to raise awareness of gender inequality, and to also raise the funds necessary to underwrite the costs of projects with the capacity to effect actual positive change.

Of course, some projects have the potential to fulfil both of these goals.

Visual impact

We are all aware of the old adage ‘a picture is worth a thousand words’ and, in parallel, the eagerness of the world’s media to showcase impactful imagery within their publications. With this thought in mind, The GREAT Initiative is to launch two major awareness-raising/fundraising projects during 2011 that are designed to maximise the Trustees’ relationships with the world’s top photographers worldwide.

Both projects will benefit from highly visible PR, media coverage, association with world renowned artists and public launch events, and will provide project sponsors with a unique package of benefits in return for their support in helping us to realise our ambitions.
